The Society of Decorative Painters
 
I am a Certified Decorative Artist with the National Society of Decorative Painters.  This is an international organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the arts.
 
 
I am also a  Traditions Teacher and Contributor to the DecoArt Traditions Education Tier Three Program.
 


 

I have been teaching for over 20 years.  I teach in Traditions DecoArt.   I specialize in strokework, still lifes and floral compostions.  Painting is one of the desires of my heart. I am married to a wonderful woodman and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren with another grandson  due in January!!.  Life is good and God is gracious to allow me the privilege of designing and painting.

I passed my SDP certification in 1986.  I was hooked on painting from the start.  I am a past president of Heart Of Ohio Tole and a past Heart Of Ohio Tole Convention Co-Chairman. I was the Exhibit Hall Chairman for the Society of Decorative Painters National Convention when it was held in Columbus, OH.
 
I became a DecoArt Traditions Teacher in 2008.
and will be a
Teacher in the Tier 3 Traditions Online Education scheduled to open in 2010.
 
I have  a painting for DecoArt in Beijing, China this summer.  
 
 
In these troubling times remember that God's biggest desire is for us to treat others like we would like to be treated, forgive freely those who have wronged us, including ourseslves and walk humbly with Father God, the Creator of all.
 
We are our brothers keeper! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whomever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life! I could give my life for those I love but could I give my only son? Thank you Father for making a way in Jesus, where there was no way, and saving the likes of me.
 
 
 
 
 
 
I will be teaching a beginners class in my Lancaster Studio this fall and winter as soon as my new studio is finished.
All classes are limited in number of students accepted.
